Transfer, 37, 165-182, (1987); http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/0022-4073(87)90020-3 Data: diagram, table Energy/Wavelength range: 300 - 320 nm Resolution: 0.03 nm Temperature: 210 K; 295 K Temperature dependence: yes Pressure/Concentration: Phase: gas pH: Comments: The authors have measured absorption cross sections in SO2, between 3000 and 3240 Å at 295 and 210 K. Measurements in the 3175 ± 5 Å spectral region indicate that there is a 9% reduction in the average cross section at 210 K compared to room temperature data. Peak cross sections measured at low temperature show increases up to 20% over room temperature data, while cross-section decreases are measured at low temperatures in the areas between the strong features.
