The experiments were carried out at a temperature of 298 K and a spectral resolution of 0.1 nm over the wavelength range 115-180 nm for SF6, 115-220 nm for SF4, 120-195 nm for SOF2 and 120-210 nm for SO2F2. SOF2 presents a very strong absorption between 135 and 200 nm with two maxima at 138 nm ( ~ 2.26 x 10^-4 m-1) and at 180.6 nm (~ 5.1 x 10^3 m-1). Between 120 and 135 nm SOF2 presents a third absorption peak at 129.4 nm (k0 = 4.5 x 10^4 m-1). There is a minimum of absorption at around 123.6 nm.
