Jackson, A.J. Yarwood Title: Fluorescence and Phosphorescence of 2,3-Pentanedione Journal/Source: Can. J. Chem., 50 (9), 1331-1337, (1972); doi: 10.1139/v72-209 Data: table, diagram Energy/Wavelength range: 200 - 470 nm Resolution: Temperature: 297 K Temperature dependence: no Pressure/Concentration: Phase: gas pH: Comments: The spectrum consists of two systems. The system at shorter wavelengths extends from less than 220 nm to greater than 320 nm with a maximum at 253 nm (epsilon = 31.5 M-1cm-1). The only structure observed is a shoulder at 280 nm. The longer wavelength system extends from less than 340 nm to greater than 465 nm. Some structure is observed in the system and no absorption is detected at wavelengths longer than 480 nm.
