Lett., 29 (17), 1822, (2002); doi:10.1029/2002GL014712, 2002 Data: diagram, table Energy/Wavelength range: 200 - 360 nm Resolution: Temperature: 243 - 296 K Temperature dependence: yes Pressure/Concentration: Phase: gas pH: Comments: Laboratory measurements of the UV absorption cross sections and photodissociation quantum yields of chloroacetone and bromoacetone are presented. The photodissociation quantum yields were determined to be 0.5 ± 0.08 and 1.0 ± 0.15 at 351 nm and 0.5 ± 0.08 and 1.6 ± 0.25 at 308 nm for chloroacetone and bromoacetone, respectively.
