Transfer, 59, 171-184, (1998); http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/S0022-4073(97)00168-4 Data: table, diagram Energy/Wavelength range: 15000 - 42000 cm-1 (~ 238 - 666 nm) Resolution: 2 cm-1 Temperature: 220 K; 294 K Temperature dependence: yes Pressure/Concentration: Phase: gas pH: Comments: The NO2 absorption cross-section has been measured from 42000 to 10000 cm-1 (238-1000 nm) with a Fourier transform spectrometer (at the resolution of 2 cm-1, 0.01 nm at 240 nm to 0.2 nm at 1000 nm) and a 5 m temperature controlled multiple reflection cell. The uncertainty on the cross-section is estimated to be less than 3% below 40000 cm-1 (lambda > 250 nm) at 294 K, 3% below 30000 cm-1 (lambda > 333 nm) at 220 K, but reaches 10% for higher wavenumbers. Temperature and pressure effects have been observed. Author to whom correspondence should be addressed: (e-mail address) A-C.Vandaele@oma.be
