Comments: The vacuum-uv absorption spectrum of atactic and isotactic polystyrene is reported from 584 Å to onset of absorption at 2800 Å.
The spectrum of the solid is essentially as would be expected from gas-phase measurements apart from strong evidence of exciton interaction 
in one of the Pi-electron transitions.
