Comments: Absolute absorption measurements were obtained for eight bands of the (forbidden) Herzberg I (A3 Sigma u+-X3 Sigma g-) system 
of molecular oxygen. The individual band measurements yield an electronic oscillator strength felabs (Herzberg I) approximately 10-7.
