License Fee Deduction:
The on-line "UV/Vis+ Spectra Data Base" is operated in accordance to the "Open Access" definitions and regulations of CODATA/ICSU. However, a very moderate utilization fee ( e.g. 120 EURO per year for an academic working group license) is required to help us not only to maintain the "Spectra Service" but also to maintain the free-of-charge "Literature Service". There is a possibility to reduce the license fee down to zero EURO for those user which actively support the "UV/Vis+ Spectra Data Base". To do so you should support us by providing new* validated (peer-revied publications) spectra/spectra data sheets for inclusion into the data base.
For every new spectra/spectra data sheet you will get a cost deduction of 10 EURO (e.g.: an academic non-profit user who send us 12 new validated spectra/spectra data sheets which are not available at the data base has to pay no fee).Please send us the relevant spectra/spectra data sheets together with the registration form. Spectra/spectra data sheets which you can provide us after registration will be considered for the next year. Please use the data sheet master and the spectra master.
* spectra/spectra data sheets which are currently not available from the data base and which are published in a peer-reviewed publication.
